Sam and Jen tied the knot at Shottle Hall on a mega windy day in February. This was my first Shottle hall wedding and I was pleasantly surprised pulling up its drive! It really is a stunning venue set amongst the countryside in the edge of the Peak District. If your looking for a countryside wedding you should go take a look!
The flowers were provided by The Flower Hall and were perfect for a winter wedding full of deep reds and green foliage.
One of the things that stood out to me at this Shuttle Hall wedding was Sam and Jen’s ceremony, it is definitely up there as one of my favourites, full of emotion and laughter and the thing that made it all the more special was Sam’s dad (and my old headmaster) conducted the ceremony! Not many people can say their dad married them… It doesn’t get more personal than that!
The weather held throughout the day and we managed portraits and groom shots outside (although it was a bit chilly) but the dramatic moody winter sky made for some epic portraits!
Have a sneak peak into their day below! <3
